Kharapani, Bhurjung Khola Before & After Flood . (カラパニ・ブルジュン温泉、洪水発生前とその後の様子)

These pictures were taken in March, 2009. It's Kharapani, where people used to enjoy the natural hot spring, or go for a picnic on holidays. It is supposed that the most of the casualties were the people enjoying their time in this place, or the inhabitants near by.
The pictures down below (after the disaster) are from different sources, i tried to find out the snaps from the same place( before & after), but couldn't distinguish as the damage has been really severe.
Feel sorry for those affected and who have lost their lives in this natural disaster.

Olympus OM-10 & OM-D

My first SLR Olympus OM-10 On market-1979

OM Digital On Market 2012 March 31
Interchangeable lenses mirror-less OM Digital will be on the market in the end of this March. It is a successor model (body design) of OM-10 sold in 1979. As I have been using OM-10 since long, would be happy to get one.
Attractive points I found in this camera:
◇The design of the magnesium alloy made body looks real good.
◇The fastest auto focusing system it has. I have tried the first DSLR from olympus, e-300. The most unsatisfactory point was the auto focusing performance in low light (with ordinary attached lens), which made me get shifted to Canon DSLRS. Though I haven't checked the focusing speed of this camera yet.
Less attractive points that make me think once again.
Mirror-less camera with EVF, though the electronic view finder in OM-D gives a 100% field of view coverage, still the magnification is the point to be kept in notice ( it is explained that it gives 1.15 times max mag. but the normal mag. is not disclosed). And you won't be enjoying the shutter sound that comes in mirror cameras.

Apart from the mentioned functions, there are lot of improved new functions in this camera. I should take in hand, check for real and update once again.

But, still, i would wait for a camera with up-down flip mirror system as of OM-10, i would get one without thinking twice.

MEMORIES

ISO 100 17mm f/3.5 1/1000sec, merged in photoshop
Place where I (we) spent my childhood,
Swimming & fishing from early morning to the late day.
Had fun & quarreled with friends, used to be scolded by parents.
Swam or used a boat (with a big hole) to the other side of the lake.
Was half-dead many times jumping down into the lake from high places.
Get lost in Raniban or be attacked by monkeys while collecting hazelnuts.
Our childhood days were quite adventurous I think.
Love this Place.
